WHY LEARN CALLIGRAPHY?


Learning calligraphy is a wonderful way to slow down, develop a creative skill, and enjoy a mindful hobby. No. Most of my classes are designed for complete beginners, so you don't need any previous calligraphy experience. You'll learn the foundations step by step, from how to hold the pen and create basic strokes through to forming letters and developing your own lettering style.

My classes focus on modern calligraphy using a pointed pen and ink. You'll learn the techniques behind creating elegant, flowing lettering. Modern calligraphy is wonderful for beginners because you will be able to write after just one lesson.

Everything you need for the session is provided, including pens, ink, and worksheets. These are yours to keep so you can continue practising at home.
